and also when i try and log in it says ive got my password wrong when theyve been manually copied from my yahoo in box and also copied and pasted - ive used the password that was given to me when i joined yesterday and yet its saying the password doesnt work.
is this something to do with the seperate login system? why then can i post topics wihtout being able to sign in?

You are right about the separate logins. The galleries and the forum are run completely indipendently of each other. The forum is automated...anyone can sign up themselves to post or answer a comment. The galleries have to be created by us. You will need to remember both passwords! I know it is difficult. We hope to rectify this in the future.

why though does it say im not logged in when i can access th forum- im presuming its a glitch and the website remebers my computer from when i signed in- but just doesnt write my user name at the top- ive never seen any form say your not logged i when you are before

You have access, that's the main thing. I will mention it to Russ (site admin) when he returns from his holiday. It may be a glitch on the site, or on your pc. We'll get to the bottom of it!

People, if you see "Not logged in" in the very upper right corner, and you did log yourself in, ignore it and keep going.
I've been here for several years now, and it always says I'm not logged in. This is my 1111th post. Just think how many posts I could have if I was logged in!

I'm just kicking this up again so people won't get discouraged when they see "not logged in" up in the corner after they do log in.
If you logged in, you ARE logged in, just keep going and ignore what it says.
People must be wondering, because this thread alone had had more than FIVE THOUSAND HITS. I hope it's not discouraging people. 8-(
