papier mache side table

Hi i'm newly addicted to this wonderful art of PM. Completed few small project,but have nowhere to dsplay them......so wanted to make a side table with PM. Can someone please give me some tips or how to get started with it?

Also what type of stores sell linseed oil/boiled linseed oil..........i'm in Singapore and no one here seems to understand what is linseed oil any other terms used for it?

Have a look at www.schmulb.com/
There are plenty of ideas about furniture making with cardboard there.
Don't worry about linseed oil.  It isn't really necessary.  It just helps add a bit more smoothness to a pulp mix.   If you are really desperate, the oil for cricket bats is probably the same.  I think you might find that in Singapore.

I just had to laugh at this one, I am a cricket widow although married to a bowler rather than batter.  I can promise that bat oil is pretty much linseed, I can't stand the smell of either of them!

By the way the 1st West Indies test started today so don't expect coherent replies from any cricket fans on the board!

I am starting my first paper mache of flower base.Still picking up other procedures to make it grow as i learn.
