Hi,
I am new to Paper Mache. I am layering a baloon with newspaper and flour and water glue - attempting to maker a vase! How many layers are recommended?
When should I use pulp instead of paper layers?

it depends on how big the vase is and if you plan on it being a usable piece or just an art object
i think i would say no less than 7 layers all dried individually
