I am the Queen of Mistakes.
I've made mistakes that I've stood back from, and said right out loud: "I DON'T BELIEVE I WAS THAT STUPID!" :shock:
Of course, if you don't do anything, you don't make mistakes. 
And when you do make mistakes, you will usually learn from them... sometimes more than you anticipated. 
And, as you say, learn a new craft and make a whole new set of mistakes! :twisted:
