Can you use greenware for papier mache form?

I'm new at this and am wondering if it's possible to use ceramic "greenware" for a form, putting the papier mache directly on top of it.

Or, should we use hardware cloth (wire mesh) over it, and plasticine, then the papier mache?

Thanks!

You can use virtually anything as a mould - pottery, china, glass, plastic or metal. Anything that is non absorbent in fact. You can paste straight onto the items and provided you have used a release agent (see "Getting Started" http://www.papiermache.co.uk/exec/cms-d … iew/id-23/ ) you should have no trouble removing the papier mache form from the mould once it is completely dry.
