Hi David. Thanks for sharing this. I love to see how another craftsperson approaches making birds. When you study a form and try to reproduce it, the method of approach you take says a lot about yourself; her approach is free of my personal limitations, and opens up some unique ideas for me. She is just amazing, and so young!

Outstandingly realistic pieces--I like the male Northern Cardinal and Belted Kingfisher the best. I don't think I'd ever have the patience to do all those individual feathers (I usually do them in clusters to save time).
