This piece is not predominantly papier mache, but I wanted to share with you how well it compliments and works with other medium! The cut out on the side of the sculpture is completely sculpted in place using newsprint papier mache, as is the outline of the sunburst corn mosaic and other relief detail. Using weldbond construction glue/cement sealer I had no problem with the papier mache adhering strongly onto the cast resin form! The whole piece was then sprayed with an automotive enamel for outdoor display!
