This piece is 100% recycled - even the frame! The roll pieces are made from layered papier mache, formed initially into a bowl shape, and then left to dry. When leather-hard, they are hand turned into these lovely organic shapes. I think they look like little alien cocoons. These ones have been painted with natural dyes on the outside, when dry.
