Papier mache cross created from newpaper. Angel at the top has halo created from matchsticks painted with gold. The piece is painted with acrylics. I have added many cliches like: Red rover , red rover let adam come over, also an apple a day keeps the doctor away, Also a very old cliche : Apple core who is your friend.

thank you Scylla. Yes one of the angel saying is "Red Rover Red Rover let ...come over"..Use to play this @ school in elementary. There is another part of my life also,,,,I use to be married to an alcholic named Joe...the devil sort of represents him..:(..this was my way of venting my anger at the time. I did divorce him and now do not have to deal with all his drinking problems. This is why the devil is holding a beer....I use to also hear the phrase "Apple core who is your friend"..silly game when after you ate an apple you would throw the core at who ever you named..:)..I love telling stories on my art...again thank you for the kind comments...
