Usually, Michael stays above the devil, putting his sword in its mouth.
Here the devil is in the mountains (it is fond of dominating with money, honour, etc). Michael takes a ray coming from the humility of Jesus to tackle the bottom of the Bad Spirit. Below the wings of the angel are seen some scenes taken from the daily life of the High School Saint Michael (run by the Jesuits since 1905) at Brussels.
