Thank you for the compliment David! Yes, it's cardboard I've cut out then covered in a paper & glue mixture I make in an old food processor. Then painted with a carefully selected grey paint. When the final coat is still tacky, I sprinkle on a mixture of ground red pumice, old brick, and sometimes cinnamon. Except for the glue, it's all recycled materials. I'm delighted you thought it might be real rusty metal! Thanks again!

I really like this, I got to try that red brick pumice, I have some mount St. Helen's ash, what would you put that on? Maybe an antiquity statue.
