This object is inspired by the sea and the seabed. It measures approximately 13 inches in circumference. The technique used is paper layering on an original mold. After covering it with a layer of gesso, I gilded it with gold leaf.

These are really beautiful. The texture calls out for gold. It gives an elegant, yet understated charm. WELL done!!!! What kind of mold did you use?
