Basically 3 cardboard spools and a shoe box and some paper clay to make this ever friendly guy, who never speaks back to you and keeps smiling no matter what you say. He stands over 5 feet tall.
Thanks Annie. I had fun making him. I am a paper mache addict. Yesterday I started out on a fox that size as being a Robin Hood kind of guy.Actually these Characters make great friendly staff in the entry. They smile when you come home and look after your glasses and keys.
Have a fun creative day yourself. Smiles Ina
Thanks Ina for your kind comments concerning the Librarian, I mostly use layers of news paper and then a layer or 2 of soft white paper eg tissue or napkin. For the hair I use 3 layers of tissue that has wall paper paste between each layer, I gently concertina the tissue and carefully place it onto the head manipulating it to look like hair with a knife.
hope this makes sense
regards Annie
