I adore whippets, I suppose the closest I'll ever get to owning one is making one :-)
Part of the armature for my super dog is made from a fabric conditioner bottle and plastic tubing - I love giving a new lease of life to something that's so ordinary its almost invisible.

Cool dog, I dig the expression you gave it with one ear erect and the other hanging.
Is there a reason you can't own a real Whippet (allergies, no pets allowed where you live, etc.?) We've got a Chiweenie (Chihuahua & Dachsund mix)

Yes definitely no dogs allowed where I live
plus my husband is no dog lover.
I do get a lot of pleasure creating my own animals
and there a lot less trouble ;-)
at the moment I'm on with the white rabbit from Alice In Wonderland ( and I just love him)
and I'm trying to finish 3 blind mice which for some reason are taking forever.
