I made this set of rune stones for a friend. I used paper mache clay to create the runes and the small bowl. You can read about runes at: http://norse-mythology.org/runes/runic-philosophy-and-magic/

That's pretty neat. Are the runes from an actual language, or did you just make up symbols?

The runes are from the old Norse language. They are ues a bit like tarot cards. In Denmark we used the runes untill the year 1000.
