Actually he started out to be a cat..but I'm more of a dog person..so I transplanted a dog head I had laying around and painted black and white design. The graphic on the rear end was to mirror the design on the Chrysler building in New York - in fact I was marketing him this summer as ' A New York kind of dog'. It was when I saw photos of his explosive rear end that I was reminded of the line fom "Monty Python and the Holy Grail -" I fart in your general direction " soon ater to be flattened by a catapulted cow. Thank you Scylla
Thanks for the background. I love the way paper mache is so forgiving, and we can "transplant" parts instead of starting over. I just began to work again on a mask face I started 10 years ago; forgiving and durable stuff. I have to ask...what become of the dog's body?
In this case he never had one - I had a dog taken on a stolen card and was trying to recreate the head. I made three and never matched it . Just what is a' dog's body anyways'?
