Thanks, Vickie. I was actually trying to make him look a little stoned and a little haughty- don't know whether that's what you read in his face. :) Lewis Carroll described the caterpillar as blue, but we got to play a bit with shading and patterns.

Wow, Karen you should be proud of this. It really is a piece of art. I've been searching the internet looking for inspiration, instructions, anything that would give me a road map on how to make the caterpillar and now I found it thanks to you! Thank you for sharing your process. I only have 3 weeks until my Madhatter theamed party. I wonder if I can pull this off? Love, Love your work!
