Hi Scylla,
It's raining here today too, but I welcome it, because a) it's cleaning day, b) the plants really need the rain. Not good for papier-mache though. I painted the eyes on the owl and then glued glass beads over them (the kind they use for flower arrangements).

Thanks Scylla. I painted the eyes on the owl and then glued two of those flat- bottomed glass beads they use in floral arrangements over the painted eyes. Kind of like glasses for farsightedness.
