The handmade jewelry in the Isabelle de Borgrave exhibit inspired me to try my hand at paper mache jewelry. The real challenge was in the engineering of the piece, basically creating a chain mail on which to hang each paper mache daisy. Am quite pleased with the end result - and sold it to a woman who absolutely had to have it no matter the cost...nice. Each die-cut daisy measures about 2.5 inches across, and created by gluing two card-stock weighted papers together, then held onto the chain mail by a gold pin, gold bead and gold donut with swarovski crystals.
