Made from cartonnage, using heavy brown paper grocery bags, scrap wire, Modge Podge glue, and acrylic craft paints. This bird is 18-5/8" tall, 12" wide (wing-tip to wing-tip), and 17" long. He weighs 1# 13 oz. He is entirely free standing, having his center of gravity balanced over his feet. He is loosely based on the Silverlaced Wyandot breed of chicken.

Your work is amazing! I learned to do papier mache a couple years ago, but don't seem to stay inspired! Your work inspires me!
