This was just a basic pulp bowl that we made using a shallow plastic bowl as a mould. To make it a bit different we used out of date spices to decorate it.
The darker colour is cayenne pepper and the paler one is ginger. The texture was stunning before we varnished it. It looked almost like velvet. Unfortunately the varnish dulled the colours a little and also smoothed the lovely texture.
Annie still has this bowl in her collection as we're not sure how the spices will hold up over time.
