This rooster stands 9" tall and is 11" long. He is made from cartonnage, a form of papier mache. This is a method where several layers of paper are glued together, and then shaped while wet either by hand or by pressing over a positive mould. I used newsprint, brown wrapping paper, wire, acrylic matte medium and acrylic paint.
