This is the third life sized dog I have ever tried with paper mache, With tp clay for detailing head and paws.
It measures 28"(71 cm) long and 12"(30.5 cm) high)
Hi David, thank you for stopping by.
My dog fools people who even walk up to it they don't realize it is a sculpture even up close. They think it is a new real dog. ha ha!
Tp clay is toilet paper mixed with your paper mache choice of glue that you use for regular paper mache layering.
This is medium keeps the sculpture in the paper category, and is incredibly very hard, great for complete surface covering ( my opinion). it allows better modeling to the detailing areas.

What a lovely relaxed position. It looks so natural. What is 'tp clay'?
