Hi Jackie: I love these big jars with the 3-d surface treatment. In my own work I love to make my designs move from 2-d to 3-d and back. I love the way the 3 horns move into 3-d like big golden snakes coming out of deep water and onto land.
Thanks Scylla. I really enjoyed making the Jazz pot. I'm not a fan of jazz myself...I just liked the idea of the trombones squeezing out of the pot. It was quite a challenge to get the tubes roughly the same and even more difficult to get it to look right from above. But I love a challenge!
