Hello everybody,
What a great idea this online papier maché gallery. I find it very inspiring to see and admire the creations of other people. A handmade personal present is so much fun to make.
I started papier maché in the summer of 2004. Since then I can't stop, my kitchen is transformed into a studio and I read old newspapers in fragments and torn headlines.
Cats and Amsterdam are my inspiration. I also like to make bowls and paper maché balloons just for decoration. After the paper maché proces I enjoy painting the objects with gouache and try new colour combinations in mandala-style patterns.
I hope you enjoy my creations and your feedback is always welcome.
