My name is Michelle Isava, I have been working in Paper Marché for the past six years; during which time I have developed my own technique and style based on intuition. I started by trying to recycle paper but the flaws of my attempts led me to exploit the sculptural possibilities of Paper Marché. Due to which I have stuck closely to making various types of vessels (containers) and Venus figurines. My work merges the boundaries between craft and conceptual art which makes it very open to interpretation.
