I've been working in papier mâché for about 20 years. It started because I wanted to work three-dimensionally but didn't have access to specialist equipment like kilns etc. So I started with an old theatre props book for the basic 'how-to' and haven't looked back since!
I follow several themes - animals and birds, people/relationships and story-telling based on fables. Increasingly I include mirrors - either to reflect something that's hidden from the viewer or broken up and set in at different angles to create a kaleidoscope reflection.
Thank you for visiting my gallery, and I hope you enjoy it. If you'd like to see more of my work, look me up on flickr.com or facebook. Current exhibition at The Old Fire Engine House, Ely in Cambridgeshire until 27th November.
