My second year constructing a papier-mache mask for Halloween. Used two to one flour/water with newspaper. I am very pleased with my work and want to preserve the mask for at least a few years, if possible.
It is painted on the outside with acrylic paint, nothing inside.
Any suggestions for a paint or spray-on non-toxic clear seal? Or storage?
Thanks.

I would seal it with varnish or clear acrylic sealer. I would read the labels carefully and go with one that says it won't yellow with age. Coated carefully, inside and out, one would think that it would discourage mice, if you happened to have any.
For storage, why not just hang it on the wall and display it?
