Hi, is it possible to make holes in papier mache? I want to tie ribbons through it, but would rather not have to make the holes before applying the paper because they would be quite small and make it very awkward. Any suggestions?

I usually use an electronic drill which gives a nice clean hole, of course- only after the whole piece is finished, colored and varnished.
