could" if i ever get the hang of it" use PM out side? if so how would i go about the task?
i try'd today to make PM useing soak'd new's paper and PVA but dosnt look as if it is going to do the job. i thought for the 1st go at PM i would do some moudling with my son."8yers old" it is now out in the sun trying to dry'
i have also ask'd a friend of mine to bring me from her UK visit some wall papper paist. to try with that. will try and pop back in latter to have a good read of the posting's im shore i will find lot's of help there. Thank you all very Much.

Jackie did some experiments using different kinds of sealers/waterproofing and you can read the results here. At the top of this page, click on INFORMATION, then ARTICLES. Go down to the bottom where Jackie's article is: "Waterproofing Papier Mache".
The one thing you absolutely, positively have to do when waterproofing is to make sure you cover your project completely. Missing a tiny crack or pinhole will allow water to enter, and mold and destruction will follow.
Where are you located, Muralou? Wallpaper paste isn't specific to Britain.
